NEW CHALLENGES OF MINING TO ADD VALUE
New Challenges of Mining Planning to Add Value, is the name of the international Webinar organized by Metaproject and the company K Mine, held this May 7, through the Zoom platform.
The Webinar was attended by prominent speakers, such as civil engineering mines and MBA. Natalia Mesa Guerrero, who has 15 years of experience in mining planning issues and Principal Business Planning at Minera Escondida – BHP, participating on behalf of RIM Chile, spoke about “The look of planning and definition of the business case from experience ”; the Peruvian mining engineer and senior consultant with more than 12 years of experience in mining planning, Victor Gamarra Quispe, with the topic “The main challenges in planning today in Peru Technologies and Software used”; Civil engineer mines and MBA Rodrigo Andrés Benavides Castro, Planning Superintendent of the CP Mine, Dispatch and Production Control areas, Geometry, in Collahuasi mining company, exposing on “The main challenges in planning today in Collahuasi, Technologies and Software used” . The exhibitions were closed by Anya Kadyrova Global, Business Development Manager at K-Mine, who spoke about the application of solutions developed by her software, such as a unified mining control system, exemplifying with real cases in Europe and Asia.
The objective of this meeting was to show new technologies to support mining planning and share experiences in Latin America, Europe and Asia. We also wanted, as part of Metaproject’s gender equality and inclusion policy, to have the presence of an outstanding and recognized professional in the sector in our country, for which we thank RIM Chile for contacting Natalia Mesa.
